About Thaoqi
A Holistic Approach to Healing, Rooted in Eastern Wisdom and Lived Experience
A Rooted Approach to Patterns, Energy & Transformation
ThaoQi was born from a deep personal awakening.
During the darkest chapter of my life—grappling with grief, depression, and disconnection—I began to reflect on what had truly supported me. It wasn’t just therapy or time. It was the return of something deeper: Qi—the vital life force known in Chinese Medicine, or Prana in Ayurveda. Without it, I felt a loss of energy, clarity, or sense of purpose. But as I slowly began to cultivate Qi through conscious movement, breath, and presence, I felt a light begin to re-emerge within me.
That awakening became the cornerstone of my healing—and later, my life’s work.
ThaoQi is not just a name. It’s a living philosophy inspired by this journey: the meeting of vital energy and embodied wisdom, the dance between darkness and renewal, grief and growth. Rooted in Eastern traditions, it embraces duality not as conflict, but as the source of wholeness—just as the yin and yang create balance in their dynamic interplay.
This is the lens through which I work with my clients today.
From Personal Loss to a Lived Experience of Healing and Transformation
Hi, I’m Thao, an Acupuncturist, and Transformation Coach.
My mission is to support people in moving toward from chronic stress, grief, or illness into balance, vitality, and deep self-connection—through a unique blend of Traditional Medicine and mindset transformation coaching.
Though I now live in Spain, my roots are in Vietnam, where I was shaped by a Buddhist upbringing and ancient life principles that still guide me today.
I spent 20 years in the corporate world across Europe and Asia, leading teams and resolving complex business challenges. These years sharpened my ability to listen deeply, think strategically, and act with patience and resilience. But they also showed me the toll high-performance environments can take—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
In 2015, life broke me open when I suddenly lost my partner in a tragic accident. That experience shattered my sense of identity. Yet it also marked the beginning of my healing journey.
Step by step, I rebuilt myself—first physically, then emotionally and spiritually. I turned pain into purpose. I left corporate life and studied Oriental Medicine in India, Vietnam, and China. I trained with masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, ayurveda, and breathwork through yoga and Qigong.
Today, I integrate these modalities into an approach that supports clients in exploring underlying patterns alongside the emotional weight of their experiences—whether related to stress, anxiety, grief, fatigue, or life transitions. My work is integrative and intuitive, combining Eastern wisdom with a grounded, practical approach.
Clients often come to me after trying many different paths. Together, we work to reconnect with the body’s signals, regulate the nervous system, and develop new patterns that foster resilience and balance. Whether online or in person in Denia, I support you in transforming pain into a renewed sense of clarity, strength, and purpose.
Creating Change Beyond Repeating Patterns
Your story may be different from mine—but if you’ve ever felt disconnected from your potential, you’re not alone. That grounded, joyful state you’ve touched at times? It’s not just a fleeting moment. It’s something that can be nurtured and cultivated.
Sometimes it’s crisis that shakes us. Other times, it’s simply the weight of daily life: stress, screens, expectations, exhaustion. Little by little, our energy can feel depleted, along with our clarity and sense of ease.
But it’s never too late to return to yourself.
Through Eastern practices adapted to your needs, I support you in reconnecting with your body’s signals, restoring a sense of energy and balance, and opening space for new possibilities.
Let’s begin the chapter where you become the author of your life again.
